Job summary

Lawtrades is seeking experienced legal professionals for a 12-week remote contract to evaluate and improve AI-generated legal work. The role is writing-intensive and independent, with no client-facing duties, and requires 30–40 hours per week.

You will design tasks, develop grading rubrics, and assess AI outputs for accuracy, clarity, and authority. Prior practice in litigation, corporate, contracts, or IP is valued; remote work experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced legal practitioner with current or recent hands-on work.
• Strong analytical writing and precise reasoning.
• Excellent attention to dates, authorities, and formatting.
• Comfortable working remotely and handling complex tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Design sophisticated legal tasks based on realistic scenarios with prompts, facts, and documents.
• Develop detailed grading rubrics distinguishing high-quality analysis from errors.
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated work for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and authority.
• Write exemplary analyses and explanations grounded in appropriate sources.
• Test tasks, identify failure modes, and revise work per feedback.
