Job summary

The Evangelical Alliance Mission | TEAM is seeking a Legacy and Major Gift Planner to lead fundraising strategies for undesignated gifts, with a focus on planned and major gifts. You will manage a donor portfolio, develop solicitation plans, and oversee estate gifts and CGA programs.

You will collaborate with the Director of Development, supervise gift officers, and help grow donor engagement while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, philanthropy, communications or related field.
CFRE, CSPG or CAP certifications are desirable but not required.
Four years of full-time fundraising experience or ten years of verifiable volunteer fundraising work.
Proven track record in major and planned giving, donor cultivation and stewardship.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

Understand TEAM’s mission and articulate it in conversations and communications.
Manage a portfolio of donors for annual, major and planned giving.
Set and pursue realistic and stretch fundraising goals with the team.
Design and implement giving strategies, cultivate and solicit donors.
Oversee estate gifts and CGA programs with compliance and reporting.
Lead marketing collaboration for major/planned giving campaigns.
Provide guidance to gift officers and supervise staff.
Travel up to 40% to meet donors and attend events.
