Job summary

ConnectBridge, an ancillary business of Cozen O’Connor, is seeking a Leave Specialist II for a fully remote role based in the contiguous United States. You will administer FMLA/ADA leave programs, review eligibility, and guide employees and managers on leave policies.

The position requires 5+ years in leave administration, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with internal teams and client implementations while maintaining accurate leave data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in leave administration.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state/local leave laws.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer leave policies and procedures, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and state/local laws.
• Process leave requests and documentation timely.
• Gather and analyze information to determine employee eligibility for leave.
• Approve or deny leave requests with sound judgment.
• Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave-related issues.
• Provide training to employees and managers on leave policies and procedures.
• Maintain leave records and reports.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to leave laws and regulations.
• Configure leave administration systems based on client requirements.
• Validate leave plans, absence codes, eligibility rules, workflows, and notifications.
• Perform system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot configuration issues with technical teams.
• Ensure accurate data integration and file transmissions between systems.
• Support client implementations through process testing, system validation, and issue resolution.
