Job summary

DEMCO, Inc. is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to grow relationships with K-12 schools and public libraries, traveling across your territory to showcase learning-space and furniture solutions.

You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and design teams to craft accurate, inspiring proposals. You will review pipelines, prospect new opportunities, and close deals while traveling 4–5 days per week, including trade shows, and logging activities in CRM to meet and exceed sales

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• K-12 sales experience with understanding of school purchasing processes and key decision-makers.
• Outbound prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business relationships.
• Willingness to travel to trade shows and on-site installations.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable presenting to educators and administrators.
• Team player who collaborates across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
• Independent territory management with occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Review pipeline and plan outbound calls and emails.
• Reach out to K-12 schools and libraries to identify opportunities and needs.
• Travel 4–5 days per week within territory to meet educators and library leaders.
• Take measurements, capture photos, and partner with design teams for accurate proposals.
• Attend regional tradeshows and demonstrate solutions to grow brand presence.
• Log CRM activity and coordinate with internal teams on next steps toward goals.
