Job summary

DEMCO, Inc. seeks a Learning Environment Field Consultant to drive K-12 school and library solutions.

You will travel within your territory, engage educators and library leaders, and translate needs into innovative learning-space products and furniture proposals. Ideal candidates bring K-12 sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a busy field schedule while collaborating with design teams and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• K-12 sales experience and understanding of school purchasing processes.
• Outbound prospecting, cold calling, and new business development.
• Willingness to travel 4–5 days per week in territory.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Team player who works across departments.
• Adaptable to fast-paced sales environment.
• Able to participate in tradeshows and installations.

Responsibilities

• Review pipeline and plan outbound calls and emails.
• Engage with K-12 schools and libraries to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Travel 4–5 days per week within territory.
• Visit sites to take measurements, photos, and support design teams.
• Represent the brand at regional events and tradeshows.
• Log activity in CRM and coordinate with internal teams.
