Job summary

Fisher Phillips LLP is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to lead technology-focused onboarding, deliver ongoing training, and coach attorneys and staff across the Firm. The role emphasizes quickly mastering new applications and translating complex systems into practical learning experiences.

The candidate will maintain knowledge of core tech tools such as Microsoft 365, iManage, Litera, and billing systems, and will support soft skills training as the program evolves.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in learning & development, technology training, instructional design, or related field.
• At least four years in a law firm or professional services setting preferred.
• Experience delivering onboarding and technology training to staff with varying technical proficiency.
• Experience developing and delivering courses, training programs, and instructional materials.
• Experience facilitating professional or soft-skills training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology-focused onboarding for attorneys and staff and drive technology best practices.
• Deliver ongoing training on core legal and business apps including Microsoft 365, Teams, iManage, Litera, time & billing, AI tools.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and group training for individuals, teams, and practice groups.
• Design and implement curricula and training programs to enhance technology and professional skills.
• Deliver training remotely and in person via various formats (live, webinars, recorded content).
• Continuously learn new technologies and translate complex workflows into practical instruction.
• Create learning resources: course materials, facilitator guides, quick references, job aids, and videos.
• Evaluate new software from a training/end-user perspective and identify learning needs before rollout.
