Job summary
OCHIN, Inc. is seeking a Learning Content Designer to create original content and visual design across media to advance our leadership in health education and health equity.
You will distill complex clinical and technical concepts for end users, employing user-centered design, neuroscience, and adult learning theory to produce engaging media that translates knowledge into action. This is a 100% remote, nationwide role with collaboration across Improvement Publications, webmasters, and evaluation
Qualifications
- 3+ years as a content designer, preferably in healthcare.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, healthcare administration, English, communications, design, or related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Suite experience.
- Experience with audio‑visual media strongly desired.
- Experience with Epic EHR strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop fresh original content for OCHIN Improvement Publications.
- Distill clinical and technical concepts into practical learning media.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Design webpages with webmasters to optimize navigation and data capture.
- Translate content into languages and ensure clinical accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
