Job summary

The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking an Agency Instructor I – Heavy Equipment Operations to train in Corpus Christi and Brownsville. You will deliver online and classroom instruction, conduct field-based skills training, and help update curriculum to meet learner needs.

Ideal candidates have five years of heavy equipment experience, two years in adult education, and a valid Class A CDL; residence in listed Texas counties is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Five years heavy equipment operations including at least two of the listed machines.
• Two years of adult education and/or training.
• Must reside in one of the specified Texas counties.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online and classroom instruction in heavy equipment operations.
• Provide field-based skills training and curriculum support.
• Assist in creating new and/or updating curriculum content to meet learner needs.
