Job summary

Data Management Services, Inc. (dba: DMS International) seeks an Instructor/Facilitator for our learning services team to develop training materials, tailor classes, and deliver standard and customized leadership development training as a consultant.

This role emphasizes engaging learners and applying adult learning theories across traditional and virtual formats. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as a facilitator, 5 years in a supervisory role, and preferred federal agency management

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a facilitator in a formal traditional or virtual training environment.
• Expertise in facilitation of learning and transfer of job-related knowledge.
• Ability to motivate learners and engage diverse learning techniques.
• Five years of experience as a manager or supervisor.
• Federal agency management experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned courses (traditional and virtual).
• Maintains and revises course materials as required.
• Certifies in courses according to certification plan.
• Keeps current on management best practices and training approaches.
• Travels as required to deliver instruction.
• Engages students and applies adult learning principles during delivery.
