Job summary

Project HOPE Namibia (PHN) seeks an Associate Director, Leadership Giving to advance a five‑year strategy by engaging high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and family offices. You will steward an active donor portfolio, cultivate new prospects, draft proposals, and coordinate multi‑channel outreach, events, and reporting to ensure donor intent and lasting impact.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams, travel, and a deep commitment to international health and humanitarian

Qualifications

• 5–7 years donor‑facing and portfolio management experience.
• Highly organized, professional, and self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with data entry and reporting in a CRM such as Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
• West Coast (remote) or DC/VA/MD (hybrid 2 days/week or more as needed).
• Ability to handle confidentiality and work in diverse environments with donor focus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Project HOPE in all interactions with donors and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, communications, marketing, and senior leadership to meet revenue goals.
• Partner with Global Health teams to design proposals, impact reports, and site visits.
• Design and implement multi‑channel cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation strategies.
• Utilize Blackbaud NXT for donor engagement tracking, moves management, and forecasting.
• Build donor relationships through in‑person and virtual visits and written communications.
