Job summary

University of Queensland invites applications for a casual Trainer and Assessor, specialising in the delivery and assessment of the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management. You will support learners with practical leadership skills through engaging, industry-relevant training delivered on campus, online, remotely and at off-campus locations.

You will deliver training using approved plans and resources, assess learner work, provide feedback, and contribute to quality assurance in assessment

Qualifications

• Industry qualifications at least one level higher than the delivered qualification.
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAELLN411/TAEASS502, or higher.
• Recent vocational education and training experience.
• Knowledge of ASQA standards and how to apply them in practice.
• Knowledge of Assessment Principles and Rules of Evidence; ability to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training using approved training plans, lesson plans, resources, equipment and practical demonstrations.
• Assess and mark learner work, provide feedback, manage reassessment, and monitor attendance, progress and results with the Training Manager.
• Contribute to development, validation and moderation of training and assessment tools and resources for quality and improvement.
• Complete administration through aXcelerate, maintain confidentiality of learner materials, and comply with UQ Skills policies.
