Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, Analytics Governance & Operations to lead governance, stewardship, and portfolio administration for the US Decision Intelligence & Analytics Capabilities organization. The role focuses on standardized workflows, reusable assets, and self-service solutions to improve efficiency.

You'll partner with Strategy, Platforms & Technology and AI & Platform Products to implement automation and ensure consistent execution across US teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in analytics operations, business operations, PMO, governance, reporting, or portfolio administration.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Fluent English; other languages desirable.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in matrix organizations.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, life sciences, analytics, data, technology, or transformation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own governance operations, stewardship operations, portfolio administration, and organizational reporting.
• Support capability leaders in governance, planning, and performance management processes.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Platforms & Technology to implement automation and workflows.
• Administer governance forums, issue intake, escalation management, and resolution tracking.
• Maintain portfolio reporting, roadmaps, initiative tracking, and leadership dashboards.
