Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Workday Financials Manager to support its Workday platform and connected systems within the Workday Center of Excellence. This role focuses on cloud-based operations for HR, Finance, and PSA, providing technical leadership across deployment projects and ongoing optimizations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in enterprise applications with deep Workday expertise, including Financials and PSA modules, and a background in architecture, configuration, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with enterprise applications in finance/accounting.
• 3+ years of technical Workday system administration and configuration.
• Advanced knowledge of Workday platform, data structures, security, and business processes.
• Experience with at least two modules: Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, or PSA.
• Workday Certification in Financial Management or PSF preferred.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert for Workday Financials and PSA.
• Provide technical leadership in deployment projects from discovery to implementation.
• Collaborate with functional/technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and maintain design/release documentation.
• Support SMEs during regression testing and Workday releases.
• Develop and maintain a Workday implementation playbook with the HR Technical Lead.
