Job summary

Herschend is seeking a Workday Financials Technical Lead to own the day-to-day functional ownership of the Workday Financial Management platform. You will partner with Finance leadership to optimize operations, governance, and security, ensuring the system scales with business needs.

The role requires hands-on Workday Financials experience, strong data governance, and collaboration with IT and AMS partners to support releases and changes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and financial system controls.
• Experience with Workday business process configuration, security roles, and system functionality.
• Experience supporting system testing, releases, and production environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to translate technical concepts for business users.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday Financial Management modules and align enhancements with business needs.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with vendors to resolve problems.
• Lead integration testing and release activities for biannual Workday releases.
• Define data models, governance standards, and security for Workday integrations.
