Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality plans, audits, and improvements across assigned suppliers in the United States. The role covers both Supplier Quality Assurance and Development, including qualification, action plans, and performance monitoring.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, problem solving, project management, and leadership skills, with experience in supplier quality and ideally airfoils or structural castings. Travel is significant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma with 4+ years in quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality.
• Minimum 3 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Cover SQE: supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Assist suppliers toward industrial standards of excellence and apply policy.
• Lead small projects with low risks and coordinate with teams.
• Explain information and develop team consensus.
• Operate with autonomy within established policies and precedents.
• Use data analysis to guide decisions and consider multiple sources.
