Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to oversee reliability in a global multi-cloud environment supporting mission-critical services. You will drive automation, IaC, and observability while integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud modernization.

The role requires extensive AWS/Azure/Kubernetes experience, strong DevSecOps practices, and the ability to lead complex troubleshooting and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive engineering experience.
• Secret clearance required to start and maintain employment.
• Hands-on AWS, Azure and Kubernetes architecture experience.
• Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks.
• Proven troubleshooting and platform reliability skills.
• US citizenship required.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Own reliability engineering across a multi-cloud environment for availability and performance.
• Drive automation and IaC to reduce manual operations and enable remediation.
• Establish observability, performance management, dashboards, and capacity planning.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Integrate SRE with DevSecOps and cybersecurity in CI/CD and cloud modernization.
