Job summary

Cyclops is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to be the technical force behind our most important commercial opportunities and to help build the Solutions Architecture function from the ground up. You’ll sit with the Commercial GTM team, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate complex client requirements into deliverable, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in solutions architecture or customer-facing technical roles.
• Led technical discovery and design for complex enterprise opportunities.
• Strong fluency across APIs, integrations, data flows.
• Able to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Balances technical and commercial considerations with strong business judgment.
• Excellent communication with engineers, product, and executives.
• High ownership and bias toward action in dynamic environments.
• Experience in building or Scaling technical pre-sales functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and discovery for Cyclops’s major opportunities.
• Partner with Sales as senior technical counterpart throughout sales cycles.
• Design solution architectures and assess dependencies, risks, and gaps early.
• Shape path from opportunity to implementation with technically sound, commercially viable solutions.
• Coordinate across Product, Engineering, and other teams to address hard questions.
• Translate between technical and commercial teams to align stakeholders.
• Own the transition from commercial opportunity to implementation for rapid progress.
• Build the Solutions Architecture function with frameworks, templates, and tools.
