The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS and 5+ years of desktop software development, with strong C/C++ skills, MFC, Visual Studio, and experience with XML/JSON serialization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5 years of desktop software development experience.
Experience with MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
Proficiency in C (C14 or later).
Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio 2019 or later.
Familiarity with MFC for Windows UI development.
Experience with XML and JSON serialization.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across core subsystems of the simulation software platform.
Guide architectural decisions and promote modern engineering practices.
Lead the delivery of complex features and safeguard long-term health of the codebase.
