Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Security Architect to shape enterprise security strategy and align security architecture with business priorities.

You will lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and product security reviews while guiding secure technology design across the organization. You will enhance security controls within SDLC/DevSecOps, collaborate with EIP and business leaders, and drive architecture updates to mitigate emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology-related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 5+ years in security architecture.
• Experience performing threat modeling and security assessments.
• Experience integrating security controls into modern SDLC/DevSecOps.
• Experience architecture/design reviews for enterprise apps.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and advising on secure design.
• Experience securing APIs, web apps, and cloud workloads.

Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments, threat models, and enforce design patterns in SDLC.
• Define security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies.
• Advise on solutions addressing security risks or gaps.
• Use independent judgment to determine best action.
• Act as single point of contact with the business segment.
• Communicate secure development principles to stakeholders.
• Improve security designs to reduce post-development vulnerabilities.
• Influence stakeholders to fix security deficiencies in design and code.
• Provide security solutions that balance risk and functionality.
• Automate and standardize applicable security processes.
