Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Security Architect to shape enterprise security architecture and influence secure technology design across the organization. You will partner with EIP and business leaders to assess threats, identify gaps, and design forward-thinking security solutions that strengthen Humana's security posture.

You will lead security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and product security reviews while developing innovative testing approaches and mitigation strategies for evolving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity with at least 5 years in security architecture.
• Experience performing threat modeling and application security assessments.
• Experience integrating security controls into SDLC and DevSecOps.
• Experience conducting architecture and design reviews for enterprise apps.
• Experience remediating security vulnerabilities and advising engineering teams.
• Experience securing APIs, web apps, and cloud workloads.
• Experience working in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Experience communicating security risks to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience implementing enterprise security technologies with broad impact.
• Must be passionate about consumer-focused security improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments and threat modeling within a modern SDLC.
• Determine security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies.
• Propose solutions addressing security risks or gaps in business segments.
• Use independent judgment to determine best action.
• Serve as a single point of contact with business units.
• Proactively communicate secure development principles to stakeholders.
• Improve security designs to reduce post-development vulnerabilities.
• Influence stakeholders to fix security deficiencies in design and code.
• Provide solutions balancing security with necessary business functionality.
• Automate and standardize applicable security processes.
