Humana Inc. seeks a Lead Security Architect to design security architecture for enterprise systems, aligning with business and technology priorities.

You will lead assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability testing across cloud and on‑premise platforms while guiding secure development practices. You will partner with EIP and business leaders, drive remediation strategies, and influence stakeholders to balance security with necessary functionality in a modern SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 5 in security architecture.
• Threat modeling and application security assessments experience.
• Experience integrating security controls into SDLC and DevSecOps.
• Architecture and design reviews for enterprise apps.
• Remediating security vulnerabilities and advising on secure design.
• Securing APIs, web apps, and cloud workloads.
• Experience communicating security risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform security architecture assessments and threat modeling.
• Determine security architecture requirements from business strategies.
• Advise on solutions addressing security risks or gaps.
• Apply independent judgment to security decisions.
• Act as a liaison with business segment stakeholders.
