Job summary

Motive is seeking a Lead, Safety and Compliance Strategy to drive risk, safety, and compliance initiatives across internal teams and external stakeholders. You will influence product roadmaps, support sales enablement, and raise brand awareness through conferences and written content.

You will collaborate with various teams to tailor safety programs for enterprise fleets, deploy value-added professional services, and travel up to 60% to engage clients and events in the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the fleet safety industry.
• 5+ years working with safety or fleet management telematics technology.
• Experience in transportation segments (e.g., Waste, Oil/Gas, Trucking, Services, Transit, Government).
• Track record developing and implementing risk, safety and prevention programs that reduce risk and injuries.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, FMCSR regulations.
• Strong consultative and coaching abilities within your organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety and compliance strategies.
• Shape customer-facing safety value through engagement with Sales and Professional Services.
• Support productization of value-added services and contribute to thought leadership via conferences, white papers, and speaking engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales Development to incorporate safety best practices into sales initiatives.
