Qualifications
- BA in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years reinsurance finance experience with a life insurance focus.
- Experience with admin systems, ledger data and operating statements.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/statutory reporting; AI tools knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Administer reinsurance agreements, settlements and reports.
- Identify and lead process improvements within workstreams.
- Analyze and create automation opportunities in reinsurance processes.
- Maintain integrity of reinsurance admin system and data.
- Review settlements for completeness and accuracy per agreements.
- Support financial close cycles, journal entries and flux analysis.
- Interact with reinsurers and third-party admins to ensure quality reports.
- Deliver clear summaries tailored to different customers.
