Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of reinsurance finance experience with a life insurance focus.
• Experience with admin systems, ledger data and operating statements.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, reinsurance operations and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of AI tools used to support financial analysis, reporting, and productivity (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administer reinsurance agreements and prepare settlements and reports.
• Identify and lead improvements within workstreams.
• Analyze and create automation opportunities in reinsurance processes.
• Maintain integrity of reinsurance admin system and data.
• Review and validate settlements reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Support financial close cycles including journal entries and flux analysis.
• Interact with reinsurers and third-party administrators to ensure data quality.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.
• Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
