Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead, Segment Quality Engineer to spearhead hands‑on quality efforts across major products and delivery initiatives within Humana’s technology portfolio.

You will design, implement, and scale modern quality practices, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle, and drive automation to improve delivery and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software/quality engineering.
• Experience with automated tests across API/UI/integration.
• Experience in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end quality engineering activities for initiatives.
• Design and maintain automated test assets across API, UI, integration, and regression layers.
• Embed automated quality checks into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and prevention recommendations.
• Coordinate quality engineering across multiple agile teams.
