enGen seeks a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer/Lead Mainframe Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical mainframe systems with deep expertise in z/OS, SMP/E, and Coupling Facility.

The role involves driving platform improvements, ensuring high availability and performance, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across IT, product, analytics, and business teams in a dispersed data center environment.

Formación

• 5 years of mainframe experience across analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation with production support.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with IT, product, analytics and business teams to gather requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.
• Document processes and participate in technical reviews.
• Ensure high availability and performance of platforms.
