Highmark Health seeks a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to drive design, implementation and upkeep of critical mainframe systems. Deep z/OS, SMP/E, and COUPLING FACILITY expertise is required, with a focus on availability, performance, and best practices across a distributed data center.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with IT, analytics and business teams, and guide project delivery while ensuring compliant, secure operations. Remote-based with on-call responsibilities may apply.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of mainframe systems (z/OS, SMP/E, COUPLING FACILITY).
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics and business teams.
• Provide production monitoring and support, ensuring high availability and performance, and lead complex projects.
