Highmark Health is seeking a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer/Lead Mainframe Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical mainframe systems. This role requires deep expertise in z/OS, SMP/E, and Coupling Facility within a distributed data center environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive platform improvements, ensure high availability and performance, and lead complex projects.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions with production support.
• Strong problem solving and team collaboration skills.
• Experience with mainframe technologies and related platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with IT, product analytics and business teams to gather requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead complex projects.
• Maintain high availability, performance, and adherence to standards.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and on-call rotations.
