Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Security Analyst for a fully remote role. You will lead advanced threat detection, incident response, and security strategy development while mentoring junior analysts and driving security initiatives across the organization from a remote-first posture.

In this leadership role, you will optimize SIEM and EDR configurations, perform risk assessments, and guide security awareness programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive information security experience.
• Expertise with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and threat intel feeds.
• Deep knowledge of OS security, network protocols, and exploit techniques.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and response to complex security incidents, including APTs.
• Develop and refine security monitoring strategies, tuning SIEM rules and alerts.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and remediation plans for vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement security awareness programs for employees.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies to strengthen posture.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing.
