Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Information Security Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will monitor security alerts, perform threat analyses, and support incident response to protect information assets.

You will collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, assist incident response, and help develop security policies in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment. A BS in a related field and 2–4 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an information security role.
• Solid understanding of network security, OS security, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from various systems for potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing coordination.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents, documenting findings and recommending remediation steps.
• Perform threat analysis and stay updated on emerging cybersecurity risks.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
