You will lead advanced threat detection, incident response, and security strategy development while mentoring junior analysts and driving security initiatives across the organization from a remote-first posture.

In this leadership role, you will optimize SIEM and EDR configurations, perform risk assessments, and guide security awareness programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive information security experience.
• Expertise with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and threat intel feeds.
• Deep knowledge of OS security, network protocols, and exploit techniques.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Security Analyst for a fully remote position. This role is pivotal in leading advanced threat detection, incident response, and security strategy development. You will mentor junior analysts, drive security initiatives, and work autonomously to protect the organization's digital footprint. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the investigation and response to complex security incidents, including advanced persistent threats (APTs).
• Develop and refine security monitoring strategies, tuning SIEM rules and alerting mechanisms.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and develop remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement security awareness programs and provide guidance to employees on security best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Mentor and guide junior security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
• Expertise in SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Deep understanding of operating system security, network protocols, and common exploitation techniques.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent advanced security certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, suitable for a remote leadership role.
