Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Lead Healthcare Data Analyst to develop reports and dashboards that monitor program and operational performance. The role promotes self-service analytics and supports data quality and data stewardship across multiple health domains.

The Lead provides guidance to junior analysts, defines requirements for new analyses, and oversees projects from inception to delivery while collaborating with internal customers and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of experience in data analysis.
• 1 year of experience in financial analysis, statistics and population management.
• Knowledge of SQL and Tableau.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and consultative engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor program and operational performance.
• Promote self-service analytics for customer adoption and data use.
• Design programmatic analyses and reporting capabilities; define business requirements for new analyses.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as directed; support data quality and data stewardship.
• Oversee project work from inception to delivery; mentor junior analysts.
