Job summary

Launch Potato is seeking a data science leader to own the end-to-end modeling stack for high-impact marketing verticals. You’ll build and deploy models that drive ROAS and media efficiency, collaborating closely with stakeholders from Insurance and beyond.

You will be hands-on from problem framing to deployment, monitoring, and performance analysis, with a focus on measurable revenue growth and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or the leadgen industry.
• Building adtech algorithms and supporting user acquisition or paid media modeling.
• Strong modeling fundamentals to drive business impact.
• Multi-year hands-on ML deployment in AWS cloud.
• Experience with multi-armed bandit, reinforcement learning, and ranking systems.
• Expert Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem to deployed model and live ROAS performance.
• Be heavily involved in data and modeling, framing business problems with stakeholders, and overseeing ML engineering handoff through deployment and monitoring.
• Focus initially on the Insurance vertical, with expansion to others over time; primary metric is ROAS.
