Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Principal Architect to lead delivery across data engineering, visualization, governance, and AI on large, multi-disciplinary engagements. You will orchestrate a unified technical approach and drive the practice maturation with standards, accelerators, and advisory frameworks.

You will coach architects, set delivery direction, and ensure coherence across disciplines while managing risk and enabling repeatable success for SHI’s data and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years delivering enterprise data or AI solutions; consulting or professional services experience.
• Expert-level depth in one of data engineering, data visualization, or data governance, with working proficiency in at least two of the others.
• Delivery capability development: delivery standards, accelerators, engineering practices, and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading technical delivery across more than one discipline on large engagements.
• Applied experience using AI to change how a delivery team works.
• Hands-on delivery experience within the Microsoft data and AI ecosystem (Fabric, Azure data services, Power BI, Purview, Copilot Studio, Foundry).
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively through influence rather than direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery approach on large, multi-disciplinary engagements spanning data engineering, data visualization, data governance, and AI.
• Orchestrate a unified solution approach across capability leads, integrating each discipline’s direction into one coherent delivery plan.
• Own delivery approach: how work is structured, sequenced, staffed, and de-risked, with clear decision points.
• Identify delivery risk early and intervene to maintain quality and coherence across workstreams.
