Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Principal Architect to lead cross-practice delivery across data engineering, data visualization, data governance, and AI.

You will orchestrate unified technical directions, set delivery standards, and drive practice maturation on large engagements with multiple capability leads. The role emphasizes executive communication, risk management, and hands-on influence across disciplines, with potential billable work and a focus on scalable, repeatable delivery patterns,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ten or more years delivering enterprise data or AI solutions, including substantial consulting or professional services experience.
• Expert-level depth in one of data engineering, data visualization, or data governance, with working proficiency in at least two others.
• Experience leading technical delivery across more than one discipline on large or complex engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery approach on large, multi-disciplinary engagements spanning data engineering, data visualization, data governance, and AI.
• Orchestrate a unified solution approach across capability leads, integrating each discipline’s direction into one coherent plan.
• Own delivery approach, including structuring, sequencing, staffing, and de-risking across workstreams.
• Identify delivery risk early and intervene on engagements drifting on approach, quality, or coherence.
