Job summary

SHI is seeking a Principal Architect to lead cross-disciplinary delivery across data engineering, visualization, governance, and AI. You will orchestrate unified delivery plans, own the delivery approach, and drive practice maturation with standards, accelerators, and advisory frameworks to scale SHI's data and AI initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership without direct reporting, collaboration with capability leads, and strong executive engagement in delivering complex client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years delivering enterprise data or AI solutions, incl. consulting/PS environments.
• Expert depth in one data area with working proficiency in others to lead delivery.
• Experience taking a practice capability from assessment to standardized adoption.
• Experience leading technical delivery across multiple disciplines on large engagements.
• Applied experience using AI to improve delivery effectiveness with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on delivery in the Microsoft data/AI ecosystem (Fabric, Azure, Power BI, Purview, Copilot Studio).
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and executive stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence rather than command authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery approach on large, multi-disciplinary engagements across data engineering, visualization, governance and AI.
• Orchestrate a unified solution approach across capability leads with clear sequencing and shared standards.
• Own delivery approach, staffing, sequencing, and de-risking across workstreams.
• Identify risks early and intervene to maintain alignment and quality.
