Job summary

Legence is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Specialist to guide a team of cyber analysts and advance security across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and data. You will own security architecture, risk strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and engineering to embed security in cloud-native development and DevSecOps.

The ideal candidate brings deep cyber experience, strong leadership, and a focus on ITGC audits, tool selection, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 5–10+ years in cybersecurity with senior/lead responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in cloud, network, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS, firewalls, and encryption.
• Proven risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cyber analysts to advance Legence’s security posture.
• Develop and govern cloud security architectures across platforms.
• Embed security into DevOps and cloud-native development (DevSecOps).
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations.
• Lead automation efforts and integrate security tooling (SIEM, EDR, CSPM).
• Oversee incident response strategies, detection use cases, and playbooks.
• Drive governance, compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO, SOC 2) and security metrics.
