Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Behavioral Health Care Manager in North Carolina for a remote role with residency in NC and occasional travel to Raleigh/Charlotte. Expect 10% travel for meetings. Standard hours are 8-5, with pediatric experience highly desired.

You will oversee care plans for behavioral health needs, guide the care management team, and collaborate with providers to ensure high‑quality, compliant care while supporting members and communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work or Nursing required.
• Licensed Master’s Behavioral Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC) or RN per state contract requirements with BH experience.
• 5–7 years of related experience in care management or behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care plans and care management activities for behavioral health needs.
• Provide guidance and support to the care management team and triage complex cases.
• Coordinate with providers and resources to meet member needs and ensure timely access to services.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and NCQA standards in all care management activities.
