Job summary

Waveguide is seeking a Lead AV/IT Construction Consultant for the Los Angeles area. This full-time, remote role supports West Coast projects, with a focus on California, Los Angeles, and Orange County. Role requires travel to project sites and client locations, based in LA or OC.

The lead construction consultant delivers technology projects during contract administration, aligning AV/IT systems with contracts and standards. Mentoring teammates and refining processes are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant AV/IT project management experience.
• Four-year degree in a technical field (BSEE) required.
• CTS certification (CTS-I preferred).
• Experience overseeing AV integrators and punch lists.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with AV integrators and contractors to facilitate installation, testing and handover.
• Manage RFIs and submittals; maintain logs and ensure clarity of responses.
• Oversee site observation, testing, commissioning, and reporting.
• Travel frequently; up to 60% locally/regionally/international travel as needed.
