Job summary

NV5 Global, Inc. is seeking a senior Audiovisual Consultant to lead design and consulting services for complex AV and related technology projects in a remote-work environment.

The role requires coordinating with Owners, Architects, and other design team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates bring extensive knowledge of audiovisual systems, IT integration, and architectural considerations, with strong communication skills and a proven ability

Qualifications

• Ten years of audiovisual experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual design, deployment and operation.
• Understanding of audiovisual architectural requirements.
• Familiarity with IT services and digital media delivery technologies.
• Experience on higher education projects preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Integrity, accountability and a positive attitude.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Professional and positive under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for the NV5 team and project stakeholders; coordinate with design team.
• Contribute to project design with forward-thinking technology plans.
• Prepare technology plans, reports, and design notes.
• Engage with clients to determine project goals and requirements.
• Guide clients through technology selection and design cost-effective AV solutions.
• Coordinate creation and delivery of technology drawings with architects and engineers.
• Facilitate pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
• Review submittals of shop drawings and other project submittals.
• Conduct site walks to verify standards and practices.
• Manage multi-disciplinary projects (AV, IT, Security, Lighting, Acoustics).
• Ensure on-time, in-budget delivery meeting NV5 quality standards.
