Maximus is seeking a Lead AI Software Engineer to drive design, development, and operation of AI-enabled software across enterprise and government programs. This remote role, based in Madison, WI, emphasizes production-grade engineering, scalable architectures, and rigorous observability.

You will mentor peers and own critical AI-enabled solutions from conception through deployment. The role requires 7+ years of software engineering, 3+ years AI/ML, and strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• 3+ years of AI/ML or related technologies.
• 5+ years designing/building solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience owning software through deployment and production operations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, ship, and operate production software systems with AI/ML capabilities.
• Own difficult technical problems from exploration to deployment and ongoing improvement.
• Write high-quality software including APIs, services, tests, infrastructure, and tooling.
• Build AI-enabled applications integrating models, enterprise data, cloud services, and existing systems.
• Apply secure development, CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.
