Job summary

Docker, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Product Manager to define the strategy and own the roadmap for a new AI & Agent Platform that sits at the intersection of AI, containers, and developer experience.

You will collaborate with a small, high-velocity team across engineering, design, and go-to-market to determine what to build, ship it, learn from it, and iterate rapidly. The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, shipping developer tools, and shaping how agents integrate with runtimes,

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or platforms.
Deep technical fluency with containers, VM runtimes, AI agents, LLMs, and tool connectivity.
Proven ability to ship 0-to-1 products in fast-moving environments.
Builder mentality with hands-on prototyping and customer validation.
Strong product sense and UX instincts for developer experience (API, CLI, error messages).
Strategic thinking with execution follow-through and multi-year vision plus near-term specs.
Comfort with ambiguity in a new, fast-moving space.
Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.
Experience growing and monetizing products at scale, including pricing and GTM decisions.

Responsibilities

Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Docker's AI & Agent Platform.
Define the first specs, prototype with engineering, validate with customers, and iterate rapidly.
Drive from conception through delivery with detailed requirements and prioritization.
Define how the agentic ecosystem components fit together (execution, tool connectivity, governance, observability).
Ensure the platform serves developers, platform teams, and enterprise operators across contexts.
Shape the developer experience across CLI, IDE, and CI pipelines.
Collaborate across Docker to align experiences and GTM.
Influence technical direction with engineering leadership and architectural tradeoffs.
Represent customer needs to guide product decisions and unblock progress.
Overcome blockers with proactive problem solving in the face of gaps or constraints.
