Job summary

Agilent in the United States is seeking a dynamic application engineer to drive sales of liquid chromatography products across the US and Canada by applying technical expertise and customer-focused solutions.

You will collaborate with account managers, demonstrate Agilent solutions, deliver technical seminars, and help shape future product design through customer feedback, while supporting post-sale activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience in separation science in academia or industry.
• Experience with liquid-phase separations and solutions, GPC, SEC, MALS.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including virtual tools and customer-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Work with account managers to define customer requirements, demonstrate Agilent solutions, and win qualified opportunities.
• Assist sales team and product specialists to meet or exceed sales quotas with technical expertise.
• Deliver demonstrations in Centers of Excellence or customer laboratories to enhance customer experience.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with sales to develop technical sales strategies and plan accounts.
