Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Law and Motion Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position available nationwide, including Norfolk, VA. The role involves handling motion work related to litigation matters, such as demand letters and agency charges, with an annual target of 1850 hours.

Responsibilities include researching, drafting briefs and motions (dispositive and discovery), drafting trial motions, preparing trial documents, and appellate briefs.

Qualifications

• Admission to the California State Bar; good standing with the bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate level.
• At least 9 years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel level.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.
• Draft trial motions and assist with preparing trial documents.
• Research and draft appellate briefs.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery; prepare mediation briefs.
