Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Controller to oversee the firm’s financial operations in a demanding legal environment.

This onsite role requires deep expertise in accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial management, with responsibility for accurate reporting, controls, and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will lead an accounting team, manage month- and year-end closes, ensure GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance, coordinate audits, and drive improvements

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive corporate accounting experience in law or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and legal/governmental standards.
• Proven leadership of accounting teams.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials or similar.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, forecasting.
• Experience with international accounting practices and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with cost accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and technical concepts.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Mansioni

• Oversee all aspects of financial accounting and GL management.
• Reconcile balance sheets and manage AP/AR processes.
• Ensure GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance for the firm.
• Lead month-end and year-end closes with variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements, regulatory reports, and internal management reports.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
• Conduct cost accounting analysis to optimize resources.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and software.
