Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to help drive marketing initiatives and support cross-functional projects within the BDMC team. The role collaborates with attorneys, management, and other departments to advance business opportunities and optimize client outreach.

The position may be filled remotely in any city with a Husch Blackwell office, or in a hybrid capacity at a local office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field or commensurate experience.
• 2-4 years prior work experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to assemble and proofread pitches, proposals, collateral, reports, and client-facing materials.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet research; knowledge of InterAction and Foundation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of assigned group’s attorneys, client base, experience, and market capabilities.
• Collaborate with BDMC and partner with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Coordinate with Internal Communications to raise visibility of team and attorneys’ successes.
• Proofread marketing collateral to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
• Assemble drafts of marketing materials—pitches, presentations, biographies, information sheets.
• Maintain data in business development databases and assist with ROI tracking.
• Grow attendance and reach for events, webinars, and initiatives.
• Coordinate attorneys’ involvement in professional and industry events and sponsorships.
• Support BDMC teams with speaking engagements, ads, PR, social media.
