Job summary

Meridial is seeking independent LaTeX Specialists to contribute to an AI benchmark evaluation project. You will audit, edit, and refine AI-generated text to ensure flawless LaTeX rendering, proper markdown formatting, and consistent rubric application.

You will identify and correct malformed LaTeX, rewrite outputs to meet style and grammar standards, fix markdown blocks, and apply rubrics across high task volumes.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with LaTeX syntax and accurate correction of math notations.
• Native or near-native English with US spelling and grammar.
• Background in creative writing, editing, journalism, or copywriting.
• Hands-on Markdown experience with code blocks, headers, and lists.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented approach and ability to follow multi-part rubrics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct malformed LaTeX expressions and unclosed environments.
• Rewrite AI outputs to meet stylistic, structural, and grammar requirements.
