Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an AI Technical Lead, Amazon Bedrock, to design and implement AI-agent capabilities for Customer Service and Contact Center use cases as part of an enterprise transformation. You will oversee Generative AI architecture, prompt strategies, RAG, and tool integration, guiding solutions from prototype to production with safety and governance in mind.

The role requires 10+ years of tech experience, 2+ years with Bedrock, and strong software engineering skills in Python/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant technical AI/LLM experience in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of experience with Amazon Bedrock.
• Strong software engineering with Python/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Experience designing AI agents and multi-step workflows.
• Experience integrating LLM solutions with REST APIs and enterprise apps.
• Understanding of grounding, hallucination mitigation, content filtering, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI and AI-agent solutions for Customer Service and Contact Center scenarios.
• Design prompts, system instructions, context strategies, tool-calling patterns, and agent workflows.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation using enterprise knowledge sources.
• Integrate AI agents with APIs, databases, business applications, knowledge repositories, and external tools.
• Evaluate and select appropriate foundation models balancing quality, latency, cost, and constraints.
• Implement guardrails, safety mechanisms, and PII protection for enterprise use.
• Define context, memory, state management, and escalation patterns.
• Define observability, tracing, and quality metrics for AI-agent behavior.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews, code reviews, and production support.
