Job summary

ShipBob, a leading global fulfillment technology platform, seeks a Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning. This remote-friendly role focuses on labor and capacity planning for a growing network of fulfillment centers, partnering with operations to optimize labor allocation and meet merchant SLAs.

You will build planning tools, run simulations, and publish centralized reports to drive informed decisions. A 3+ year background in warehousing labor planning and strong Excel/SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in labor or capacity planning within warehousing or fulfillment environments.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL; familiarity with Python preferred.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assess current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers to optimize for cost and SLA performance.
• Maintain and update staff planning models for all facilities.
• Build and maintain labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Run analytical simulations and reconcile data across multiple systems to validate labor models.
• Collaborate with operations stakeholders, process managers, and implementation teams to align labor plans with merchant needs.
• Support peak season planning and strategic expansion initiatives.
• Develop centralized reporting solutions for accurate data publication and informed planning.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
