Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Labor Law Counsel to lead labor strategy and negotiations with unions in the AMR region. You will manage CBA negotiations, provide legal guidance to HR, and coordinate with senior leadership on risk mitigation and training initiatives.

The role requires a JD with bar admission and at least 3 years in labor law, with experience in union petitions and transitions preferred. Location: Remote – Chicago, IL and NY, NY; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• JD required with active bar admission in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree; preference for Labor Relations or HR related field.
• At least three years of professional labor law experience.
• Experience leading CBA negotiations is required.
• Experience handling union petitions is preferred.
• Experience managing transitions involving unionized employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead collective bargaining agreement negotiations and discussions.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior executives, HR and leadership on complex labor matters.
• Identify and resolve high‑risk union issues with recommended actions.
• Serve as point of contact for outside counsel on arbitrations and audits.
• Advise HR on day‑to‑day labor relations matters and investigations.
• Develop and refine training programs, policies and processes.
• Occasional travel may be required.
